Got a call my my DD yesterday...She put baby Griffin (21 mo) on phone....He said.....NONNA! Yeah.....other Grandkids call us Nana and Papa and this DD would not let us be called that....It had to be Grandma and Grandpa....well, Griffin sure fooled her! LOL

i wanted to be called grandma and grandpa. my mom who is from and still lives in england, wants to be called gigi. (instead of "nan"?,which is the english version, lol)

My 12 yr old Jake has always called me Grandma Rhonda like the rest of the kids. But this last time he visited he was teasingly calling me Grammie and Grams and Gma. As long as it isn't Granny I am fine! LOL

I do have one 6 yr old DGS who used to insist on calling me Rhonda and not Grandma Rhonda. He now calls me Grandma.

Well thats better than being labeled Mimi Baby Yow..Grandkids call both grandmothers Mimi..and tell us apart by calling me Mimi Baby Yow.....(Baby Yow means little kitten to them)

My grandsons tell us two grandmas apart by calling me Grandma Bluecar (for obvious reasons) and their other one Grandma Poop poop poop (not so obvious - that's the sound her older tv makes when she turns it off). I know what you were thinking.
