Okay I am not one to complain normally but I must vent for a moment. I drive a not so nice road to work every day and my normal commute is usually 45-60 minutes each way. I live in NY so snow and ice and sleet is to be EXPECTED in the winter. I was driving in today and came to a complete crawl!!! With the shunt surgery sitting for too long causes my legs to go numb...so my legs were numb, my head was screaming because I can not take my meds while driving and I HAD to go potty! Well needless to say there were two folks who decided to take their $70,000 vehicles out and then decide well I don't want to drive in the snow I might crash so they stopped their cars in the dead middle of the two lane road about 4 miles apart! GRRRRRRRR!!! If you are afraid to drive in the snow move somewhere it doesn't snow or don't go out!!!!
Sorry just had to vent-it makes it real hard when I should be to work by 7:30 and don't get there until almost 10 and I left early because of the snow..
Thanks for listening!
Hugs
April

When I lived in Colorado, we went everywhere at anytime...you knew what to expect when you got in the car.

Now living in Kentucky, it freaks everyone out...granted it isn't "snow" here...it's dang ICE. Yep... not much you can do when you are sliding across the road as I found out a couple year ago.

I feel your pain. I'd have burst sitting for so many hours, astronaut diapers in store?

IMHO, with apologies to those who can afford it, anyone who pays $70K for a car isn't too bright anyways so what can we expect? Around here, those are the types who crawl up each other's bumbers in the high speed lane.

Sorry you were caught in that. Not fun!

had those days in snow when you'd just got there time to come home-----commiserations.

I hate that...If I just think I may get stopped in traffic I have to go to the bathroom.

We had something similar in perfectly good weather on I5......when we finally got to the 2 areas, one was a jacket on the freeway.....and the 2nd was a car in the middle grassy meridian....it had been there for days because it was already tagged. Going 5-10 mph on the freeway is VERY irritating!!! Especially if you have to go potty!!!!

I feel for you!! :-(

I feel your pain! I went through these days when I was working. My commute was 35 miles one way, which was okay on a good day, but let the weather misbehave and it was terrible.
