Those are cute fur babies....I would put an add in the newspaper and if no one claims...Keep him....That is how I got one of the four I have....He thinks you are great or he would not have followed you home...

try to find out is he had a micro-chip, check with a local shelter to see if they can read him - when I adopted my dog from the shelter, they automatically are chipped.

here are some nice pics of red/white BC and pembroke welsh corgis.... both breeds are bobtails and the BC's red can vary in shades of reds.

Tricia

beautiful dogs I would have to name the last two either half pints or short cakes first thing that came to mind when I scrolled down and saw the pic.

What a lucky dog - looks like he has found his new "forever home"?

Border collie/Australian Shepherd all the way. I currently have a BC/Lab and have had a ACD/Aussie. In the first case, the mix produced a lovely, calm though playful dog. The ACD/aussie was not calm.

Yes, BCs come in solid red. There's one that lives behind me.

I hope you are able to keep him.

Does he have a name, yet? :-) I LOVE stories like this!

I adopted the two minpins in my avatar, Max and Zena, from a kill shelter two years ago. The staff had managed to keep them for 2 months, but their time was running out. They are an elderly pair who have always been together and when I heard their story I had to bring them home. They're both curled up with me as I type.
