Today I finally had to change my avatar. My husband and I are the owners of the old Hamilton Hospital in Hamilton Texas that started burning late wed night and today is finally close to out. For any of our central Texas quilters here on the board www.kwtx.com has been reporting on it and show a few of the pics while it was burning. I know I don't post here often and I'm sorry for rambling but we are just sick about this. Thanks for listening

Quiltstodo, I am very sorry to hear about this and to see the damage done. Was the building empty or did you lose contents too? My grandmother was born in Hamilton TX. Do you know when the hospital was built? So very sad for you.

How awful. I'm so so sorry to hear this. My son and I are very interested in those old buildings. It seems that every time we turn around, one is either torn down (on purpose) or burned.
