had not seen hide nor hair of her since before Thanksgiving, and then this morning she came up on the porch! to make mousie's day. She was not poor at all, so hubby thinks she has been eating scraps we throw out and doggie food. She was very appreciative of some cat food and many, many hugs, though.

DD, gave hubby some strong cane syrup for Christmas that he wants me to use, so haven't gotten around to making them yet.

We are going to start, this coming December to have a family reunion type thing, 7-10 days before Christmas, here at mousepad. will have snack foods and gag gifts. I'm making the cookies, lol! (think that will gag them? :roll: :lol:)

Actually the cookies are quite good! Of course I ate them in moderation only (so did DH since he is diabetic)...so I don't know if their "magic" power really works. :roll:

I did give some tins of them away...but I included the warning. I haven't heard anything back...so I guess they were ok. :lol: :lol:
