Something has changed here with the dates for first posted. It was different before, now all the dates are all mixed up, driving me crazy, sure liked it better the other way

I am still fairly new on this forum and I don't know what you mean. Would you mind explaining? Thank you.

I am also puzzled

Beside the topic the board is showing the info about the First Post and the Last Post. I was wondering the same thing and noticed it too. At first I didn't think I liked the way it looked, but now it is easier to tell how current the thread is before you open it.
I have responded to threads and didn't realize the topic had been started quite some time ago. Now you can see the date easily and I think I like that.

I have not noticed it at all.

I noticed there was something different but I could not figure it out. I kind of like it.

I noticed it too when I tried to find my posts by scanning down on the names and could not find them as easy. Thanks admin.

I like the newest change of the dates! It lets me know when a topic was posted as well as by who :)

loopywren 09-15-2010 04:37 AM

It took me a while to see the reason behind it, but once I posted to a thread which was way out of date and I hadn't realised. Wiser now!

amandasgramma 09-15-2010 07:22 AM

I noticed! And I don't like it either. I liked it when the date was separate from the poster's name. That way, I could look thru and find the thread I'd posted much easier!

I liked it when the date was separate from the poster's name.
In the past, the timestamp of the first post was not displayed at all. It was only showing the time of the last post. Some people asked me to add the time of the first post to the listing, so now it's in the same column as the user name of the author.

I can flip the rows and put the author's name above the time of the first post. Maybe that will make it more convenient.

Some of those old post need to be dusted off and brought back out for knowledge and enjoyment. I am happy when I see them pop out. Some of them are invaluable.
First post/Last post just looks like a different title. The information in the columns doesn't seem to me to be different. I like it either way.

I hadn't until you pointed it out, but then I am relatively new. It is very helpful and I like it.
