take a look at this cute one. I asked her if it was lined and she said no so she tried not to carry her knitting needles in it. I have this on my blog also, 4th picture down [http://www.quiltwalktalk.blogspot.com]

Very cool bag and a great way to use surplus fabric:)

when I was a teen (LONG time ago) we used to crochet purses out of twine. I guess it was cool back then.

Nice!

a friend of mine uses the plastic bread bags and shopping bags and cuts them into strips then makes all sorts of things from them. bags, coathangers and lots more it is just up to your imagination

Yes I have crochet a purse. I made it for my granddaughter just big enough to put a cell phone, a change purse and a couple of small items when she goes to the school events.
I also macramed one, which came out very elegant. That bag looks like it was made out of the store bags. I made a huge bag out of that to hold newspapers for my cat litter box. |
I made a small crochet bag out of the very thin crochet yarn for my daughter in law to carry for her wedding

I have made lots of purses bags ect. I made liners for mine too.

Love this tote. Is there a pattern?
