Yes, I had one twenty years ago, and I'm surprised they still do them! I had a ruptured disc in my back. The procedure was not bad, but I moved too much, and ate too quickly since I felt so good after the procedure...which was not good. I became nauseated. So...just stay still and don't eat (just like they tell you) for a few hours after the myleogram, and you should be fine. Good luck to you.

I had a few and after the first one I was sick for over 4 weeks though I did everything they told me. I´m allergic to all kinds of medicine so that must have been part of the problem.

I had one in my 30's & would not do it again unless I really desperate. Mine was supposed to help diagnose severe headaches, but gave me more. Have you asked what they might find that they cannot determine with an MRI?

Allergic to idodine and dyes. Did they do a ct or MRI!? I wouldn't do it!!
