That is how those sites work. Do you have another graphics package you can upload the pictures to from the camera? Here in the US, drug stores and some department stores have kiosks where you can plug in your memory card and make prints or CDs.

Post the website they are on and I will try to save them, but most will not let you.

On my computer you have to upload and copy them to your hard drive. I have a photosmart R967 camera and a photosmart P1000 Printer. I still have to upload and save on my harddrive. I put them in my documents under the folder my pictures. Then I use the software I have to put pictures in their program and then burn. Then I delete them so the pictures don't use my memory. Pictures staying on your harddrive takes up a lot of space. If you haven't saved your pictures and you are trying to burn directly form camera that may be your problem. I save all my pic. on a memory stick, floppy disc. or camera until I get enough to put a lot on one cd.
I hope this helps you I know how frustrating computers can be. If you are doing picures that are already on your harddrive and it is not working you should be able to click help on your software to help.

Some good advice here:

http://forums.techguy.org/multimedia...-pictures.html

and here:

http://www.archivemyphotos.org/save.html

Three key elements:

Your laptop/PC must have a disc writer as well as reader - If the front of your disc drive says "CD-RW", "burner" or "writer" then you know it can burn discs.

Use the right type of disk: CD-R or DVD-R/DVD+R

Use a CD/DVD Burning software : I use Nero which is very good. You can get free ones too, just search online and download.

Check the CD/DVD to make sure the pics have saved ok before you delete them off your hard drive.

This is all stuff my brother taught me, he's an IT Professional.

Good luck!
