Not sure if this is the place to post this but here goes. I have 9 windows of white curtains, pretty blah looking.

I am am wanting to use the following fabric to make some kind of insert in them. Don't have enough to do it any bigger.

Does anyone have any suggestions, on how to go about doing this please, cause I sure don't.
Thanks!

How about making a trim at the top of the drapes....something about 6-8" wide or as much as you can allow, sewn directly onto the current drape.

Could you add a strip to the center edge of each panel and then make tie backs.

How about a big curved tie-back, and I line of trim down the inside edge.

How about if you make a covered cornice board (with fabric & a little batting) to mount on the wall at the top, that covers the top of the drapes, and then make tie backs & matching pillows for the sofa or bed (not sure what room these are in) with what's left?

First site has a great and very simple idea. Looks sharp in the pictures.

Wash and dry this fabric before you get started. It shrinks close to 2 inches on width and the lose to ravel on the length was even worse. You will have to do a closed seam like on a pair of jeans. I did a project in the red print and the 6 yds I bought that should have been more than enough was'nt- I had to get another 1 1/2 yrds to finish. But on the good side the red did not bleed.

OMG I purchased all of the material they had it was close to 12 yards, sure hope it doesn't shrink to much or I am in trouble. Will have to rework this to see what I can do now. Thinking of leaving a band of the white at top and then just adding the floral to it on the bottom. Thankfully the curtains are only 64" long so that will help.
