It has been almost 30 days since it rained. We are used to getting rain atleast once a week. Is anybody else getting this much needed rain?

We haven't had rain since April or May, I forget. Just all that boring sun all the time.

I remember when we lived in Ca. it would only rain 6 times a year. Sun all the time, I hated it.

We just finished up with two storms passing through... we are good for a while LOL

We finally got a small shower today. We haven't had any rain for ever. It's a regular dust bowl here. We need more more more. Any one know a rain dance? :-D

I actually like thunder/lightening storms if I don't have to drive at night in them. And I get tired of watering the veggies. It seems out here that they dry up in an hour or two when it is 90+ degrees. The ground is like a rock, too. The plus is that we can plan outdoor activities all summer and not have to worry about getting rained out or moving the bbq into the garage. So good and bad, as everywhere, I suppose - no perfect place.

we are very dry in Indiana (most of the state under a no burning) it is so dry here

We are under a "no burning" ban also; we got a 10 minute shower today.

I just listened to some farmers today complaining that it is so wet here. They are hoping it dries out more so they can harvest the corn and beans and not have to pay to dry them out. Saves them money and better for the corn and beans. Less mold etc.

All we received was enough to keep the dust down for a day or two. More, please.
