Recently I answered a post and sent it, then realized that I had misread the post and answered it incorrectly and wanted to erase my answer. So I went to "Edit", backspaced over the whole thing and sent it again, but it didn't work.
Does anyone know how to delete a post once it has been sent? |
I think you have to ask a moderator.
|
You can't. I think only a moderator can.
|
You can't send a blank post ... if you had left one character it would have worked. I believe if you want a post deleted you have to contact Admin.
|
You, the user, can't delete a post.
When that happens to me - say, the board gremlins cause a duplicate post - I just overwrite it with a "dupl. post" comment. I don't think you can post a completely empty message. |
Yep, just tried it.
No empty messages. So just put xxx or misunderstanding or dupl post. ;-) |
Just Pm a moderator they will do it for you no problem.
|
we'd prefer you ask a moderator to delete it for you.
those might-as-well-be-empty comments create a lot of confusion and misunderstanding. |
