After almost 8 weeks of waiting, I finally got to hold our first grandchild - Rainn. When he was born on July 26th, he weighed 1 pound 4 ounces. he is now over 1 kilo - about 2 pounds 4 ounces. He has graduated off the CPAP and the high flow cannula so it is now much easier to move him around. He still has tubes and wires, just less. So, we went to visit yesterday and our son and DIL told us it was our turn to hold him. What a lot of fun it was!! He was so alert and moving around, I think he is getting tired of his incubator digs. Yep, what a nice day!

They are such precious little beings. I love to see them so alert. Looks like he is doing well. So hopefully soon he will be back at home.
