Every night I find cool ideas and add it to my list of things to do.

Well tonight, I run across the wedding dress quilt post. I following it around to a link that show a picture of a beautiful quilt made from someone's wedding dress.

I print it off, go running with excitement and explain everything. After all, the dress is in a box up in the attic so why not make it where I can see it everyday.

He says, so let me see if I am getting this right, you want to cut up a $500.00 dress. Still smiling, I say uh-huh.

That site is dangerous you need to stay off of it.

LOL, just wait, he will be amazed when I get a chance to start and complete my project! :D

Have you seen any of the posts about making quilts from men's shirts or ties or t-shirts or even the denim quilts????? Show him one of them and he will be padlocking his dresser and closet.

How funny.

A wedding dress quilt sounds perfect to me. My DH said the same thing when I discovered the vintage sewing machine section and was bitten by the bug. He is as bad as I am at finding "just one more"! This is why I have 17 SM.

Tell him that if you still have it, you just may keep it for your next wedding!!!

I'll bet he will decide rather suddenly that he would LOVE a quilt made from it.

it is a $500 dollar dress sitting in an attic doing no one any good.

Have you ever heard of making baby christening quilts out of the Mother's wedding dress.

I can't wait to see your quilt that you make with the wedding dress, have fun!
