I was bad. I save $75.00 in coupons at the grocery store yesterday. I convinced DH that since I had saved money he thought we would have to spend I should be able to use it on material - kind of like a reward....

So I hit up ebay - because I was specifically looking for soccer material! I got commissioned to do 2 soccer quilts like the ones I did for the raffle at our club.....just added it all up and I bought $83.00 worth of material - opps!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's only $9.00 over--you can save it on next week's grocery shopping!! Plus, think what you saved buying on e-bay!

But, since the soccer quilts are commissions, you'll get that money back - right ?! TA DA fun without any expense !

Did I hear someone say quilters are devious?

See that was my thinking - I save $75.00 at the grocery store. I collected $120 for the 2 quilts (they are lap quilt size and I'm not good enough to charge more than that)....So that is $195.00 I had to work with. My daughers agree with my math and say the ebay total should come out of the $195 and I can still show a profit....my DH and boys in the house say it doesn't work that way!
