Grocery shopping ranks right up there with mopping the floor. :?

I take my youngest DGS with me and "let" him push the cart. DDIL thinks I am crazy..... I teach him stop, go, left, right and he helps me find foods.

What?????? You mean you would rather eat than sew?

My six year old DGS loves to go shopping with me. He is especially interested in the produce. He called me last night to make sure I have bananas because he is visiting on Sat.

Hurry up and get your groceries so you can get back on line.

Nope! I prefer to sew, that's how I am losing my weight but my family demands that there be food in the house. LOL!!

I'm back for the moment! I'm not done shopping yet. :(

Shopping for groceries is my pet hate, would rather do gardening, thinking of doing it online soon, no driving to supermarket, no loading the trolley, no queueing at the checkout, no packing bags, no loading the car up, and no other shoppers getting in my way !!! Am I getting with it, or just getting old !!!:)

how about picking up a few items for me, so i can stay here...and keep up to date for you :thumbup:

No you are not getting old. I hate it too, I don't like dealing with people at the stores.

I hate it too....all that money on FOOD, couldbe spent on fabric, lol!

At times I do need to remind myself to be grateful that

1) We have food available

2) We are able to buy food

3) We have the means to prepare it

4) I/We are able to eat almost all foods with no restrictions (except for moderation)

Grocery shopping for me is WalMart. The other store is Albertson's & I just refuse to pay such high prices! So I put up with Wally World.
