I love my man

Every year I find that I love my husband more and more.

In September it will be our 13 & 10 anniversary (13 together
and 10 married).

As usually he always goes all out to get me what I WANT for my
birthday (even though it is a few weeks away). The last two years
he got me full spa treatments (massage, facial, mani & pedi), which
I break down into 3-4 separate visits because the facial and massage
was 2 hours for each.

This year he asked me what I wanted, I told him that I wanted new
shelving in my fabric room so I can get all my fabric onto comic board
and get rid of the platform bed frame and most of the plastic storage
bins. But in the last week or so I was kind of rethinking what I wanted
this year.

Well last night he told me we needed to "have a discussion" regarding
my birthday gift this year, I jumped on that to change my wish list item.
I told him I wanted EQ Stitch (with that he almost hit the ceiling, because
I STILL haven't learned how to use my Floriani digitizing software).

Well he than said you can either get that software AND get what is in
bag #2 or you can skip the software and have what is in bag #1.
I still chose the software and after ordering it online from EQ (no retailer
within a 100 mile radius of me had it in stock), PLUS a 20% off promo
this weekend only.

My husband than handed over his iPad 1 to me and said it was now mine.
If I had chosen not to get the software I would have gotten a Nexus 7
tablet (something else I mention earlier in the year about wanting someday).

Do I regret my choices? oh heck no, I was "stealing" my husbands ipad on
weekends anyway to play the "flow free" games. Now it belongs to me.

Hardest part of this now is having to WAIT for my software to be delivered.

You are blessed for sure with such a loving hubby and one so willing to please you. So many wish they were in your situation with a wonderful hubby. I have one like that...not for buying gifts, but everything otherwise he can do to make my life good. I appreciate him more than I could ever explain. Congrats on the gifts. God Bless you both.

You are blessed with your husband , as I am, married now 54 years. You didn't say what you do for him but I'm sure that you care for him just as much. The perfect partnership is caring for each other as equals.Only today we went out to buy plants for the garden and have lunch, giggling together like teenages at our forgetting the 'proper' names for plants. Then home to sit in the sunshine with a glass of wine, remembering all the gardens we had planted over our lives together.
