I see lots of references to yahoo groups - how would I find if there is one for me?

I mean Baby Lock Crown Jewel owners? I'm thinking that I'd like to get in touch with others that have it, as I'm ordering mine next week....

Google Yahoo Groups. You will need to join Yahoo if not a member.

I searched Yahoo groups and could not find a group specifically for the Crown Jewel. You might want to join the homequiltingsystems group, though. This is a large and active group of quilters using a wide variety of frame setups to quilt. Someone on there will have a Crown Jewel, for sure. Here is a link to that group:

In the upper righthand corner you will see a search option if you want to look for other groups.

I have to tell you a funny story based in the "all men are alike" philosophy. When we went back to the US about two years ago, our daughters (with 10 kids in tow) went to a quilting shop. I do not do well just standing around, so I parked myself back by the sewing machines--loads of sewing machines! There were the long arms, the embroidery models, the ordinary models, the Baby Locks and so many more--not just one brand either. I sat there drooling and probably looked "hungry" or deprived.

Maybe I looked lonesome because a clerk came and offered to show me how to use the newest Bernina embroidery model at $10K plus. My grandson, age 8, came up to check on what I was up to and stood over me as I enjoyed the demo. On the way out of the store, he approached his mother with, "You can't let GramMER spend that much money on a sewing machine!"

He thought I might seriously plunk out $10K+, but he has no idea that much is not in my bank account nor on my credit card. His mother commented to me later, "MEN! They are all alike!"

I predict she might buy herself one someday.
