I'm wondering what gives you a good laugh. Is a particular movie? (name of movie) a certain book or author? (authors name? namer of book? whatever makes you laugh and feel good. I love to laugh altho not as much as I want to :) Thank you.

grandmaemma 03-04-2012 03:20 PM

I have a puppy and oh, yes, my husband makes me laugh with his silliness I am easily amused. LOL

ptquilts 03-04-2012 04:12 PM

Look up clips from your favorite comedians or TV shows on Youtube.

Glenda m 03-04-2012 04:35 PM

Just last night the DH and I watched skits from Bob and Ray and the Two Thousand year old man..Mel Brooks. Good for a laugh and good clean fun.

Ditter, she puts things on this blog that make me laugh like crazy

Teacup 03-04-2012 06:55 PM

My DH can make me laugh. My grandchildren delight me and their view of life at ages 3 and 5 brings frequent chuckles. My cats, especially the one with a huge personality, crack me up. I love old TV shows...Dick Van Dyke always gets me. I agree that Ditter and others post some great jokes and links to videos here on the QB that I make me laugh, and many crack my DH up as well.

mrsponcho1 03-04-2012 07:30 PM

My DH is always telling jokes and playing pranks. Our youngest son can keep you in stitches with his one liners and if his wife gets started with him, oh my goodness, my cheeks and sides hurt from laughing. We do have a good time when our family is visiting.

js3830 03-05-2012 06:20 AM

Ditto on Ditter!!!!!

DonnaC 03-05-2012 07:23 AM

I'll second that and say that whatever Ditter posts usually cracks me up! Beyond that, I'm a big fan of British comedy shows.....check out Are You Being Served? or Keeping Up Appearances. Generally they are on local PBS stations. I love all the old situation comedy shows too - Golden Girls, I Love Lucy, etc.

kat112000 03-05-2012 07:31 AM

A t.v. show with Betty White called Hot in Cleavland. That show cracks me up, well Betty White, she cracks me up!
Big Bang Theory is another funny show.

Sew N Tune 03-05-2012 07:47 AM

My sister Deana, makes me laugh with her life stories and my Mother makes me laugh. We have really good times together. Just ask the folks at Kohls.

Helovesme 03-05-2012 12:50 PM

Yep, The Big Bang Theory and Whose Line is it Anyways? are crack ups. And my daughter, when she laughs - it's this genuine belly laugh and it makes me laugh. But, we're a house full of idiots anyway....LOL.

Yooper32 03-05-2012 05:06 PM

Yes, Sew N Tune, how about those folks in Kohl's?

theoldgraymare 03-05-2012 07:04 PM

Janet Evanovich's (sp?) Stephanie Plum books make me laugh until I cry.

Peckish 03-05-2012 09:55 PM

"Whose Line Is It Anyway" is absolutely hysterical. My 11 yr old loves to watch I Love Lucy, and I love to watch it with him because I love to watch HIM laugh!

Painiacs 03-05-2012 11:42 PM

Janet Evanovich books! Watching children and animals! My family! Talking to friends! Reading jokes on the net!! Laugh at yourself and life!!

mcar 03-06-2012 05:46 AM

Jaques Tatti in Mr Hulot's Holiday black and white film, story set at a French resort after WW11 when life was simple.
The anticipation of what will happen next keeps you on the edge of laughter. Turner movies shows it now and then.
I saw it in the Art Theater with my father as a girl and still enjoy seeing it again and again.

JabezRose 03-06-2012 06:46 AM

Love "Keeping up Appearances" Hyacinth cracks me up and DH is always making a crack about our Periwinkle blue tea set.
You watch "The Red Green" show. The duck tape king. Lotsa good chuckles on that one too. If we can't find them handsome, at least we should find them handy, speaking of our husbands.

lfw045 03-06-2012 06:54 AM

Tyler Perry's House of Payne and Meet The Browns! They crack me up!

My husband and his "man antics" always make me laugh. Sometimes the guy has no clue as to how funny he is.

nwm50 03-06-2012 01:32 PM

watching Larry the cable guy show

CAS49OR 03-06-2012 04:00 PM

The movies "Love You To Death" and "Raising Arizona" really made me laugh! Sometimes I laugh at myself when I made a really stupid mistake. Other days that just slays me! I IM a friend and say "Mr. Clover is getting hot and bothered." Mr. Clover is my seam ripper!

tate_elliott 03-06-2012 05:23 PM

I often listen to old time radio shows, such as Jack Benny, Fibber McGee and Molly, and others that really crack me up, even though the humor is older than I am!

I enjoy many of the tv shows already mentioned, I'm surprised that no one has suggested Mike and Molly.

sandypants 03-06-2012 05:41 PM

Of course my DGKd's. The Janet Evanovich's books and The Ladybug series by Donna Ball, they are feel good books. Love- Hot in Cleveland, Any old sitcoms from years ago. Abbott & Costello movies, Yes, I'm old.

luce321 03-06-2012 05:46 PM

I too like the old tv shows, they really make me laugh. "Everybody loves Raymond" does that for me, no matter how many times I see it.

Ileen 03-06-2012 05:59 PM

Ditter, and Grand Kids!!

gigiquilts 03-07-2012 02:25 PM

Being with friends can be a laugh a minute when the intent is to relax and have fun. Take friends with you to run errands, go to lunch together, dig around in junk shop, yard sales or even good shops. My friend Dianne and I started a quilt group a few years ago. We thought others might also enjoy the fun and we all do. Laughter is just great medicine. Wishing you some great laughs.

misseva 03-08-2012 11:11 AM

I laugh at Keeping up Appearances, sometimes As Time Goes By, Dick Van Dyke, Mary Tyler Moore Show, Odd Couple, That Girl to name a few.

lenette 03-09-2012 07:02 AM

The movie 'The Money Pit' with Tom Hanks. The kitchen scene and bathtub scenes crack me up!

Also 'The Birdcage' with Robin Williams. Hank Azaria as the houseboy cracks me up. And, again, the kitchen scene kills me.

oldbalt99 03-17-2012 04:08 AM

For a good fun feeling I read two books by Georgette Hyer, Fredrica, and the Grand Sophy. For a mind blowing up I read action books by John Sandford, my favorite Sudden Prey.
