This is humorous but really. I have an inner ear infection in each ear. Do I have two ear infections? Guess I should have asked the doctor while I was there.
|
humm, hope you start feeling better soon
|
If they are caused by the same bacteria, I think you have one infection.
If each ear infection has a different cause, then I think you have two infections. I don't know - hope you feel better soon. Earaches are miserable to live with. |
LMBO I guess you do :D:D:D I hope you get to feeling better soon!!!
|
Or do you have a double ear infection  LOL
Hope you are feeling better soon |
I dont know, but get well soon! No fun feeling icky in the Summer!
|
Oh no! Hope you feel better quickly!
|
I hope you feel better soon! I had ear aches as a child and hated them, very painful. And yes, I think you have two infections, one in each ear. Unless you want to call it a head infection? :D LOL!
|
Ya'll are making me laugh. Thanks, I needed that. No, no pain. I had right ear infection (and sinusitis) 3 or 4 weeks ago, went for antibiotics. The pressure in the ears never went away. My sinus are fine but I knew last night I was heading for trouble. This morning I called for appt, had one little stabbing pain in the ear. She gave me a nice shot (burned like a steak on a grill) and antibiotics. I am not in pain. Thank you for your well wishes and your humor. /Regards, Dorothy

You have 2 ears, so that's a 2-ear infection. Hope you feel better soon.

Ummmm, not much better than catfish and fried potatoes, unless you add fried green tomatoes and hushpuppies.
When's he doing it again? That's my kind of meal! If you wait about 2-3 weeks, I can bring the fresh green tomatoes! |
ok, I told dh about your ear infection. He googled it and it's called a "bilateral ear infection" = an infection that affects both ears... So now you can sound really sophisticated when you tell people that you have an ear ache :D
I sure hope you start feeling better soon. |
I'm no nurse or doctor but I'd say that unless you can look in one ear and see out the other or unless the infections can find some way to meet in the middle it's two.
Bilateral or not when it makes my head feel like a lampshade and the floor slant it's not fun and I'll bet your's isn't either. |

A little tip my doc gave me: to help clear your ears after the pain has gone, MUST BE ON ANTIBIOTICS( I did this on day 3) you hold your nose & breath and blow; like when you fly or go down a mountain, and your ears will pop and the fluid will drain, yah, you can hear again.I tried it and it works.Oh, and last but not least I wish you a speedy recovery!

Good morning, this post has made me laugh to tears. I get giggles each time I read through it again. We do have a sense of humor, together we are un-stoppable.!!! I have enjoyed all the translations, they are all so fun. Hope there are still more who want to join in.
I have no pain, just another beautiful day waiting for me. For a week or two it felt like my skull was shrinking and like I had ear plugs in my brain trying to push out of my head through my ear canal. This morning it feels like the ear plugs are childrens size instead of monster size. Boy, the itching inside my ears last night was intense! Doctor said they were 'clean as a whistle'. Yeah for me! Now, what do I think I want Tom to make for supper tonight as I have my feet up reading post on the Quiltingboard? |
Ear infections are tough. I sure hope you feel better. This cold I have just hangs on. Luckily I haven't missed much tho. Been raining and gloomy out! Feel better!

A double ear infection!! Bummer!! I hope you get to feeling better really soon!!
|
Whether it's one or two I hope you get better soon.
|
Hope your better. Thanks for the laughs.
A cold that 'hangs' on is not a cold but more likely rhinitis. Needs meds. My sons DF had a cold that 'hung' on for over three months. The Dr's kept telling him it was a cold and they could do nothing. DS called me, told me the symptoms and he was worried about DF, did I know what it might be. We had just studied it in Clonical Procedures. I told him rhinitis, DF told Dr. to treat for it, and 24 hours later, was a new man. Feel better everyone. |
