Just got back from Ft. Jackson, SC from my son's Basic Training. He graduated on Wednesday and was promoted to Private First Class, E3! I am so proud of him. Thought I'd share a pic of him. He's off to Ft. Lee, VA for another training.

CONGRATS MOM!! he's a very nice looking young man. I am an army brat :) my father was in the army 42years, fought in Korean war. Congrats to your son too!

Where is home? I live near Richmond, VA....Ft Lee is just down the road from me.

prayers are with them all and family's. My DH is retired army so I know it is a hard life. |
