Been catching up on all of the posts. I took a little break with Christmas. I use my dining room table to sew on so with a large family of 6 children 4 that are married with, and 9 grandchildren, I figured I needed to clean my table off. It was a really good thing I did. This past Tuesday my brother in law passed away so we have had a house full.

My brother in law was 66 and had been in a nursing home for about 13 years and was very crippled with arthritis which began after he had Stills Disease as a child. He had not been sick except that he had been dropped from a lift a few weeks before Thanksgiving. As far as we know he passed away from natural causes.

It has been a sad time but I will be getting my quilting back out soon to occupy my time. The sad thought I had was I had purchased some fabric prior to Christmas and was planning on making him a Turning Twenty for next Christmas.

I'm so sorry to hear of your families loss. Maybe you can stll make the quilt in his memory and give it to your sister or one of his children, or even donate it to a worthy organization in his name.
