I normally would not mention a news story on the board, however the new photos from NASA from the Hubble are so incredibly beautiful, one looks like a huge butterfly. Anyway, I thought these photos would appeal to the creative spirits here, so have a peek here:

DH is a hobby astronomer so he keeps me up-to-date on all the latest space stuff. It is amazing that Hubble still works at all, let alone that well.

Didn't he mention, Hubble underwent a major repair and upgrade mission. She's been refurbished! What we are seeing now is the result of it's new state-of-the-art telescope. The photos are the totally stunning. I hope you saw them. |
You can also sign up for their newsletter's via email...they will give you a heads up on upcoming eclipse's, meteor showers, etc... I get one or two a week from them :wink:
