I've seen the non-working candles, they are plastic fakes but look real. Of course you can't light them like "working" candles. Sounds like she either wants to surprise him, or is getting desperate to keep him. Sounds sad. Makes me want to know what's going on, and it's not any of my business. hmmmmm, i just gave a large box of white dinner candles away to charity. too late and wrong color!!
