Internet

I had my home phone disconnected and I know I told them to disconnect the internet also. I went with verizons mobile hotspot. But when I get on the internet it still says att. yahoo. And I am still using my bellsouth.net. Will I have to change my email address? Do I still need to talk to att about this?

In my experience I was charged for internet untill I went and got there equiptment from my back yard and returned it. If you are using hotmail or g mail you do not have to change your e mail address however if you have an e mail that has ATT in the adress you will have to change your e mail address you might check and see if they turned off internet or not

I would call them again, just to be sure they got the correct message. I have ATT Uverse and their internet, and I can't wait for Dec. so I can get rid of them and go back to DirecTV. If you haven't had their TV service, don't bother unless you're a hands-on nut who likes to keep punching the "OK" button for the TV to keep working. It cuts off after about six hours if you don't...such a deal, such a deal! And according to ATT, there's nothing they can do to correct this!

I have AT&T and a bellsouth.net email but since ATT & Yahoo merged, I still use my bell south.net email even tho I can set up a yahoo address. Yahoo addresses aren't as secure. I think you may have to log on to the att.net site and log into your email that way.
