Hi. I just got an "ipad" and don't know how to use it.
Does anybody have one and can tell me how to use it?
Thanks.

yes I have one, I have the first add. have had it over a year.
very easy to use.
I know you can have classes at the local apple store. I know when I bought mine i could have a year of lessons for 100.00 (I just keep teaching myself, or what my girlfriend has taught me...)
What do you want to know how to do?

Also, I know you can d/l the "Nook" software but where do I do and find it. As you can see I am not very good at this electronic stuff. Thank you for any help. I really appreciate it.

I have one and absolutely could not live without it, I think.
Which iPad do you have?
In order to get it registered and started you have to download iTunes on your computer and then open iTunes on your computer, then plug your iPad in to your computer. Then follow the directions provided. There is a manual that you can download, too. I downloaded it to my computer and then read it on my computer and do it on my iPad. Also there are a couple of iPad groups on Yahoo Groups where you can get lots of info for your iPad

Well I am doing something wrong. I have downloaded itunes
to my computer and now I want to put it on my I pad
I go to create an account and it wants me to sign in at
"my ingo web page" I don't know where that is at.
I have looked all over and now I can't get my Icons on my ipad
just my "settings". What am I doing wrong?

I have one and love it. Look into downloading Kindle instead of Nook, unless of course you have a Nook and have already bought books. I tried both and the Kindle app is so much better. Just go to app store. That will be one of the icons on the screen that was preloaded. Search for Kindle app. It is free. There are also many free books you can get. Also great reader app is IBooks and it is also free.

I do not remember downloading ITunes on my IPad. It was already there. I did have to go in and set up my user id and password. Use the same as on your computer account then you can download to either.

You don't need to download iTunes on your iPad. Just open your iTunes on your computer. The plug your iPad into your computer. It will take awhile but pretty soon you will see your iPad listed on the left hand side of your computer screen in the iTunes page.
You need to press the Home button (on the bottom) to get out of anything. You are in the settings screen, and if you press that bottom button once you should be able to see all your icons.
Hope this helps.
