It's driving me crazy
I've spent the last hour looking for the name of a TV show....one of those things that get in your head and won't leave you alone until you find the answer.
I can't remember any of the cast but it was about a woman who worked in Las Vegas casinos. She left the work to care for her sister's children after the sister was killed. She solved her sisters' murder and went to work for an insurance agency. Does anyone remember the name of the show? It seems like the title had a casino-type name. I thought Chris Potter was cast as her investigative partner in it but I googled his name, and couldn't come up with the name of the show. Thanks for any help. |
Oh I feel your pain. Have you tried googling?
Dh and I spent an hour last night trying to remember the name of a show we saw several years ago and only 2-3 episodes. After an hour of googling, we finally found it, when we used the correct search term. The show we were looking for was Bone Kickers. |
how about Wild Card? http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0371495/

I went through this a few days ago, trying to think of the title of the show "It's a living." With Ann Jillian. Then I found the woman I thought played her boss, was not who I thought it was. So I am trying to remember the name of an actress who plays upper class roles, and her first name is not a typical woman's name. Something like Sterling....

Thank you. These things are so frustrating. Sometimes the name is on the tip of your tongue but you can't spit it out. I saw a show last night and I was sure that one of the actresses was the woman that played Zoe's boss on Wild Card. Just checked your link and it turns out it wasn't the same person. |

no, but it is something like that. I like Stockard Channing, she is always good. This woman is older and more "haughty".
