Jigsaw puzzle

I posted a jigsaw puzzle before and you can get more puzzles when you're done. I thought this one was cute in case you missed it. http://www.jigidi.com/solve.php?id=RW5ZXGXM

thanks, that was fun

alleyoop1 11-14-2012 05:48 AM

Thanks! I LOVE jigsaw puzzles and doing them on the computer keeps my dining room table available for meals!

lillybeck 11-14-2012 06:49 AM

That was fun but just another thing to keep me on this computer

Thanx! A year or two ago someone started a thread asking how many quilters also liked to do jigsaw puzzles. The response was so many that it was rather shocking! Is piecing just another type of jigsaw puzzle? Or are jigsaw puzzles another form of piecing?

I work these a lot! I love them. Right now I'm trying to choose the seasonal ones and working the Christmas puzzles.

nyelphaba 11-14-2012 04:55 PM

Thanks! I never did this before, it was fun.

jollyquilting 11-14-2012 06:59 PM

You aare in so much trouble, I just throughly enjoyed spending a half hour working the puzzle. I love these silly things. I aslways do the one on Fri. on The Quilt, it sure does use of thee time though. lol

I love picpuz, but my question is: how in the world do you turn pieces around on this? I am on a laptop so the pieces are really scrunched...........but it does look like it would be fun......

Quilt-Till-U-Wilt 11-15-2012 05:41 AM

I've never done one of these either. How do you turn the pieces.

quilter68 11-15-2012 06:04 AM

FYI - one hour and eight minutes!

lynndianne 11-15-2012 06:27 AM

Thanks for sharing. I always do 3 or 4 puzzles a day. Really enjoyed this one.

I have a laptop and puzzle pieces did not need to turn. I thought the pieces needed to turn, but I was wrong- I needed to move them, but they were all facing in the correct direction.

twogeebs 11-15-2012 07:50 AM

I love this, thanks.

I just finished one at home, a "Dowdle" I got at Sams and was disappointed it didn't interlock very well. Does anyone out there know the best interlocking jigsaw puzzles?? I want to get a good Xmas puzzle.

kydeb 11-15-2012 08:18 AM

Grace MooreLinker 11-15-2012 10:18 AM

thanks I like puzzles

wildyard 11-15-2012 02:47 PM

I too enjoyed this puzzle. Wish I knew a site with more quilty puzzles. I do jigzone's daily puzzle and I saved this site. LOL, as previously said, one more thing to keep me online. But I need things to do while taking my breaks from the sewing. And these are good to keep my mind from going dull as fast. lol

anniesews 11-15-2012 04:00 PM

Thanks, we love puzzles!

KyKaren1949 11-15-2012 08:38 PM

Quilt-Till-U-Wilt----you can't turn them. You can only move them around. I love doing these.

HisPatchwork 11-15-2012 08:40 PM

i did alot of them...they were fun...some beautiful pictures!

lisalovesquilting 11-15-2012 09:23 PM

Thanks a lot. I used to do this and enjoyed it again.

Peckish 11-15-2012 09:40 PM

Jigsaw planet has quite a few, plus you can upload your own pictures, and choose what kind of shapes and how many pieces there are.

Iraxy 11-16-2012 06:52 AM

I love jigsaws and on our table at Christmas we have a giant puzzle that everyone works on between visiting and eating. By the end of the week it is done and we are all amazed that we did it.

Damsel in DisDress 11-17-2012 04:31 PM

This is neat! Thanks for sharing!

nurseart 11-18-2012 09:37 AM

thanks so much . I didn't know this site existed. That was a good point about quilters and puzzle persons. I like to do both quilts and puzzles.

bbeyes 11-19-2012 10:15 AM

I tried doing this but my screen was not big enough I don't think didn't know how to make the pieces smaller.

Monroe 11-19-2012 11:04 AM

I just tried this puzzle and it was fun. To shrink the puzzle there was a + and - bar on the top. Clicked on - so i'd have room to move the excess pieces out of the way while I pieced the border.

Teddybear Lady 11-19-2012 11:09 AM

I've been playing this ever since you posted it the first time. I have it bookmarked. My favorites are the mosaics. Thank you again for sharing this website with us.
