I miss this board so much! My computer died! Hubby doesn't consider it a priority to replace it & that might be due to the fact that he is technology deficiet! Seriously he wouldn't know how to turn one on and even refuses a cell phone!
Anyway...my daughters fiancee bought this laptop and I'm sneaking in here to say "hi". I also want to thank all the many ladies who were so helpful and generous. I will continue to sneak on here whenever he leaves this glorious invention lying around. I'm only here a couple of hours every day babysitting for two adoreable grandchildren ages 2 and 4. They demand alot of attention, but thats what all those cartoons on TV are for right? Seriously I love spending time with them, but will try to jump on here when I can.

emachines started life with a terrible reputation, then they were bought out by Gateway and improved, and then by Acer..
I have had emachines by Gateway and by Acer and have had ZERO problems with any of them...

He sounds just like my husband. I was shocked earlier this year when he started getting on the computer and playing around just so he could know how to do a few things. But, if I didn't leave it on all the time I doubt he could boot it up. lol

Ugh have been there too many times. DH and DS just replaced mine with a used one. DS 24 is a computer nerd fortunately so I now have a super duper speedy puter and am back on.
