Kola the cat has a $2300 hammock!!!

Kola decided to use my LA that is loaded with a quilt as her personal hammock.
I make it a habit to cover my work with a sheet for just such occurrences. :) As you know a cat will sleep anywhere the opportunity arises. |
Ahhhhh, perfect fit:) One of my cats wanted to sleep in the box of batting scraps.....she would find it no matter where I would hide it!:)

It really looks comfortable!

Only one of my 3 cats is allowed in my sewingroom because he usually just curls up somewhere and sleeps. He likes my batting box or my lap the best. Have you ever tried to sew with a cat on your lap? Not easy. I could see him sleeping on a LA if I had one.

Awww...that's cute. Nice of you to provide such an expensive bed for him ;)
|
Way back when I use to hand quilt, it was easy to find one of the two cats I had at that time sleeping on my PVC type quilt frame. I would have to tighten the quilt before I could start quilting again.

Too cute!!!

It seems that Kola has very good taste in beds. Perhaps she can get a job as a bed tester for Temperpedic (sp)? LOL!!
|
How Sweet! Thanks for the pic.
|
oh so cute !!
|
My spoiled rotten cat decided to tear all the batting out of the quilt I had loaded on the long arm.
Had to unload and throw the batting away. Luckily I had not started quilting it yet. Lesson learned. |
How sweet! Probably thinks that nest is just for her.
|
AWWWW such a happy camper.

You are a true cat lover to plan for such an occurance. We do love our fur babies, don't we?
|
I know this is not quite the same buts it got to do with sewing, when I was a Child long ago.. my mom had a box full of sewing patterns in my closet our momma cat decided that was were she was going to have her kittens! I found them in the morning to the sound of little mewing s, of course the patterns all had to be tossed. That same cat also did the same thing in under my covers at my feet while I slept sure felt funny to put my feet down on wet kittens! lol.

LOL So cute!

I know. My son's cat tried to get on the I had loaded on my Innova with Red Snappers (clamps) to take a nap. Needless to say she was too heavy for the clamps. She and the quilt came down with a crash. Luckily, she wasn't hurt and the backing for the quilt was salvageable (it just pulled some threads, but didn't tear).
I have put the quilt back up and just put some things on the table so she can't get back up, though I think she's not too interested in getting up there anymore. :) |
