I am so very disappointed to learn that Chris Meloni is no longer on SVU. I've been waiting all summer.... :cry:

I heard about this in the spring...it boiled down to he wanted more money. Have mixed feelings about it. Sometimes the character could be really annoying, but I've been a fan of the actor since he was on Oz several years ago.

Dang, I most likely wont be watching anymore then.

Didn't get y he quit on the show? Did he retire? Just saw Olivia say to captain " he deserved it "?

Apparently Stabler shot and killed a teenage girl-it was a good shooting. They were talking about how he would have to have anger management, therapy, evaluations etc. in order to return to duty and that he wouldn't submit to those requirements, so he turned in his papers. That's what I understood anyway.

I was soo bummed , I too was a fan of his from his days on OZ . He was amazing in his character on OZ . It was a bit of a stunner to see him go from really bad guy ( OZ) to a cop but he really pulled it off.

and Elliott was so easy on the eyes!

I'm disappointed with CSI (Ted Danson??? Really??), and SVU with the loss of Chris Meloni. We'll see how my other favorite show goes when I see NCIS. I hope they don't mess that show up.

I totally agree!! I don't think I can even watch CSI any more!!

And I like Stabler's prickly personality: he's the kind of guy you'd want watching your back! I loved his fierce loyalty to Olivia.

And they sure should keep their hands off NCIS!!
