I have seen the stage production several times and was hesitate to see the film. Only saw it last week. The film was fantastic. I also highly recommend it. People were worried about how long it was, but the movie moved right along. I thought it was the fastest 3 hours ever. I'm already planning to see it again. Loved it.

Dare I give my opinion. I was two minds whether to see this film or not but DH wanted to see it. I went not expecting anything special but DH had high expectations and was even more disappointed than me.

The fact that there was no spoken dialogue was a big turn off for both of us. We both found it long and whilst they did "age" Hugh Jackman towards the end Russell Crowe never aged one day. Big mistake.

Just as well we are all different.

I hope I have not turned anyone seeing it now.

I loved it. Saw it on New Years Eve. I took both my adult sons. I sorta thought they might not care to much for it. I knew it was a long movie and thought they wouldn't be to thrilled to sit through it. Well I was wrong. They both loved it! On the way home they both said how grateful they were to have seen it. It was a great night!

My daughters and I saw it Christmas night. We have seen several productions and I saw the movie version with Liam Neeson. In our opinion, it was fantastic! I was so moved by Anne Hathaway's performance. I can't wait to see it again!

I saw it and it was awesome, so true to the play! If you can, go see it on the "big" screen, however I did embarrass myself by sniffling all the way through it.
