I came across these in my AARP magazine:
goodsearch.com allows you to make a donation to your favorite charity (about a penny per search) every time you initiate a web search. It's easy to create a shortcut for your desktop to make it easy to do. goodshop.com partners with more than a thousand retailers and they donate a percentage of the purchase price to your charity freerice.com feeds the hungry, and builds your vocabulary at the same time. For every word definition you get right, they donate rice to the hungry freekibble.com gives food to dogs in shelters when you correctly answer a daily trivia question freekibblekat.com does the same thing for cats in shelters So, a few fun things to do and a way to SEARCH (which we all do!) to benefit others. Every little bit helps charities nowadays. |
Wow. So many sites. Thanks for sharing.
