We are having breakfast at church in the morning. I am taking a Paula Deen Creamy Hash Brown Casserole. It has frozen hash brown potatoes, celery soup, onions, cheese, etc. in it. Do you think I could prepare it tonight and bake it in the morning?

Don't see why not. Jimmy Dean has a breakfast casserole with eggs, cheese, milk and bread and you can make that ahead of time so I think yours should hold up.

Do they want you to thaw the potatoes before you make the casserole? If so I dont see why not.

And if not, add the frozen potatoes in the AM right before putting it in the oven :D Have fun!

That is a great recipe and you will love it and yes you certainly can put it together tonight and bake it tomorrow and my SIL has even cooked it in her slow cooker and that works too.

Thanks so much for your help. I am going to have to get up at 5:00 a.m. in the morning and that is early enough ... the more I can do tonight, the better! This Board is amazing. No matter what the question, help is only a few keystrokes away!

That is one of my families favorite casseroles. I think the flavor blend better when they sit for a while.
