The stuffing is rather pricey, but if you price pillow forms, they are pricier (but no work).

Hello, whenever I'm going to garage sales or Thrift Shops, I check for the pillows at a low price. I don't care what the cover looks like as I'm going to be covering it anyway. I've found them anywhere from $.25/ea to $2/ea. Either way, its a lot cheaper and easier to acquire than brand new. I can never get the stuffing to not come out lumpy so that's why I buy pre-owned. I also throw them into the dryer on high heat to kill whatever germs or smell might be in them. Never know where they've been in the past. Think I have 2 large boxes filled with old pillows just waiting for a new cover.
