I am sitting in my sewing room all comfy in my lazy boy rocker finishing up some paperwork for work, anxious to get done so I could have the rest of my evening free to sew, and the phone rings. It is my husband....he's up on the roof and wants to know if I would come out and pick up the ladder so he could get down :lol: :lol: :lol: ROTFLMBO
He was cleaning the little maple spinner thingies out of the gutters, and apparently the ladder decided to take a trip!
What you don't know is that #1 he doesn't usually have his cell with him when doing yard work, and #2 we almost never get cell reception where we live. OH, my! It was all I could do to stop giggling so I could put the ladder back up!
Heaven only knows how long he would have been up there if he couldn't call...my room is on the other side of the house, the TV was on, the dishwasher was running and...well, let's just hope I would have surfaced from my quilting long enough to realize he was missing and go look for him. 8-) :lol:

Me also! Good heavens, I still might not have known anything had happened...I get so engrossed in my addiction. I guess he must have a guardian angle out there. :wink:
