Thank you so much. You just can't imagine how much joy he's brought to our lives. How someone could just discard anyone as sweet as my boy is just beyond me. But, their loss is my gain!

here is my favorite dog and cat pic

Too funny! Eons ago I had a Great Dane who looked just like that one. His name? Sherman... as in tank... as in he was BIGGER than one! A friend had gotten hiim & he was fine as a puppy but as he grew bigger & bigger, their affection for him grew smaller & smaller so I took him. I'm a softie (but shhhh... don't tell anyone. I like to pretend I'm a tough chick... LOL! And that works till people hear me talk baby talk to Leo).

They are so cute when they all get on my bed at the same time and then get settled....a head on somebody's tummy, an arm over somebody's face, feet touching another pup or me....everybody has to be touching at least one other pup.....an overload of adorableness. Oh---and these are not dacshunds and chihuahuas....a total of about 185 lbs of doggie here. Two pits, a german shepherd, a beagle and an australian shepherd. Sometimes there's not really room for me on the bed.

lol I have 4 medium sized rescue babies-that is my limit.they are a joy to have around

But, Mommy... we just wanna be close to you!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Like somebody else said, they're nice and warm in winter, hot in summer. Hot lasts a long time in Atlanta, too. They're sweet and we only do this for naps; they sleep in cozy crates in the kitchen for nighttimes. (They know "Time to go to bed" and they all love their beds....the crates have orthopedic soft and squishy mattresses.)

I have 4 dogs, 2 of them destroy their toys and carry part of them to bed.
The golden retriever is Molly, lab mix is Terra, the Westie is Annie and poodle mix is Mr.Choop; the only male in pack. They all get along very well and everyone was mostly
well trained when we got them. Mr. Choop had to learn a bit of manners, the girls have taught him that excessive sniffing of them is a bad thing.
Molly was left behind when her owners moved away, she had stage 2 heart worm infestation and a mere 50#; 2 years later she is a healthy 80# and heart worm free. Annie was a runaway and also very skinny and nearly hairless when we found her, didn't realize she was a Westie until she started to gain some weight and her fur grew back. Terra was a puppy born at the local ASPCA shelter from a litter of 8. Mr.Choop is my DS' dog and the youngest. Terra is 10,Annie is 8, Molly is 6 and Choop is 4.
