During the opening moments of the service this morning, our music director was talking about his father on this Father's Day. He said that he got his love of singing from his father who sang, and that his grandfather loved to sing, too. He said that he remembers his grandfather giving his grandmother a sewing machine and that it was a singer, too. :D:D:D:D:D

At our church the speaker was talking about her father and how patient he was with his 4 daughters. They always made him late everywhere they went. But instead of getting mad, he would wait patiently in the car and then when they were all in and on their way he would say, "Well off we go like a herd of turtles." That made me laugh.
