My latest not-a-quilt project

I have wanted a wingback chair for a long time, and happened upon one at our local Habitat Restore when I stopped in after leaving off a donation. It is an Ethan Allen chair, very sturdy, extremely comfortable, but unfortunately a dirty peachy-pink color that is so not me. $35 later it was in my car! I quickly got on line and found decorator fabric in a brown/cream check and now I have a brand new(to me) chair for under $75. I am really pleased with the outcome. It is not a "real" upholstering job. I used staples, pins, and old-fashioned hand sewing to attach each piece. Not conventional, but no piece is going anywhere! Hope you enjoy.

It is too a real upholstering. Just so happens you used different materials. It looks great! Upholsterers use everything you used. Love it!

Fabulous job - the fabric matches up perfectly in all areas, much better than some so called "professional" jobs I have seen.
