Not a super fabric find or quilting rulers or books but I have been collecting Brown Bag Company cookie molds and today I found one from 1988 with 2 hearts..really cute for TWENTY-FIVE CENTS!! I was thrilled...

Isn't it great to make "finds" like that? DD and I have been garage saling for three days now. We found some wonderful buys too. Today I got a really nice large Stone Mountain purse for only 50cents! I also found two of the bathroom grippers which are exactly like the Gypsy Grippers and work the same for $1 ea, a large storage bin of fabric for $5, and a bunch of just like new large Ty Beanies for a carnival at church for 50cents each. DD now has close to 170 purses in her collection. The only thing I didn't find was some used 3/4-1" metal tape measures (like Craftsmen) to cut up and use in snap purses. I'll look next weekend.

NOt long ago I bought the type you carry in a purse at Big lots. It had a yellow cover and snaped on your belt loop or handle.

I loved those cookie molds!! I only have a couple from them and a couple from Longaberger. I haven't seen them in ages. I should look for them and get them out.

Check at your $1.00 stores for a metal tape measure. I found mine there and it works fine.
