She was just thrilled with it! Thank you, Sonja, and for all the kind words too. She's 88 years old and when someone asks her how she's doing, she tells them she's in pretty good shape for the shape she's in. lol.

She is ADORABLE!
Tell me about the memory box? Looks interesting!

I want to know more too.

I'm so glad she liked it! That's a great picture of your mother. Working those locks will be so much fun for her and you know you can "hide" surprises inside for her to find, right? Thanks for sharing, Eileen. This made my day!

Charlee and littlehud, This memory box is used for people with alzheimers and also for children with autism. This one has ten doors with ten different locks and they open into three compartments.

Google "Alzheimers Memory Box" or "Autism Memory Box" or even "Handyman's Lockbox". Any child can play with it as a toy and it's made by Tag. I've also seen them on eBay.

It is just the neatest box and both Clare and I played with it before we took it to Mom. Sonja did a good job explaining what it is and how it can be used. I'm going to put her valentine and some candy in the compartments.
