My new Grandbaby

I know this is not quilt related but so many of you contributed instructions and guidance to the quilt I'm making for her that I wanted to share her with you. Ramsey Elizabeth was born yesterday, July 8 at 10:45 pm after her mom's (my daughter) blood pressure shot up to 163/112. This is very dangerous and can lead to seizures. Since Ramsey was due in less than 3 weeks, the doctors decided to go ahead and let us welcome her to our family.
She's the first grandchild on both sides of her family so, yes, she will be spoiled - but hopefully, not spoiled rotten:) |

She is beautiful, and so alert for being a day old.
I hope Mom is doing well. I had the same issue with my youngest daughter birth in 1989. They thought I was going to have a stroke and did an emergency c-section. We are both doing well. She is a Mom herself now with two gorgeous little girls. |

Thank you all! My daughter is doing very well tonight. She's pretty grumpy but I suppose she has a right to be. And thankfully she's doing a pretty good job of not showing it. Only her husband and I know what some of those looks mean:)

I overheard a pediatrician tell a young mom, "Spoiling is just over-loving, and there is no way you can over-love a child". Your baby is absolutely beautiful. Spoil her. Being a grandmother is wonderfully indescribable, congratulations!
