Neck Coolers

Does anyone know how to wash these after they have been used? I thought that it was posted at one time but can't seem to find it.

you have to do it with dish soap in cold water by hand....then I roll then in a thick towel to get as much water out as possible and then hang out in the sun to dry completely.

I dunno, never heard of em, but they sound cool! No pun intended!

I concur with Jaci. DH bought me mine after a very early hysterectomy and I was facing severe hot flashes. I still use it for those moments when I'm the only one feeling the heat.

Does anyone know about how many times these can be reused before or after washing them?

If it is a "frog tog" we hand wash them and line dry.

Not sure if I can post this but here are instructions on making cool ties and it does state to use over and over. They are filled with polymer crystals. Wet the crystals and they become a gel-like substance. Dry them out and they return to the rock-like crystals. I have made hundred to send to the troops in Iraq. Be careful how much you use in the tie as if overfilled, the gel will ooze out.

I love these ties. Bought first one on trip to AZ and NV, boy were they great for keeping cool. Now I can make my own. Thank you.

I just bought these cool ties here in charlotte NC at Dollar Tree for $1. I bought a few and going to give them as appreciation gifts to friends and family at 108 here I'm sure they could use it. I will start research on cleaning care which should go with the tie.
