I read a book awhile back that I really liked. It was the first in a series and I can't remember the name or the author. It's about three ladies that buy an old house in the country. I think it has Bees in the name. Any way after they buy it they discover an old woman living in the attic after they start thinking that the house is haunted. I don't know anywhere else to post my problem. If you can help me I would apprecate it.Thanks in advance.FayZ

The Secret Life of Bees is about 3 sisters who take in a runaway girl and foster her. I don't remember the story having an old lady in the attic. But there may be a sequel to it that I've not read that does.

Librarians are an awesome source. Try calling the resource desk at your local library. They may even have a computer program that would allow them to google based on topic/part of name of title, etc.

How about ladybugs instead of bees?

I would do this - go to Amazon, type Bees in the search bar, category "Books" Then narrow it down (left column) to Fiction, contemporary. Then go through all the titles until something rings a bell.

dunster, That was it. Da me. It was ladybugs. Thank you so much. Now I can reread that one and check out secret life of bees.I'm a happy camper.

Glad to know that was it. At least it was in the insect family. LOL
