i highly recommend the Kindle fire HD. It even has over 200 free apps ncluding free texting, >love it < goes in your purse , and is great on an airplane.

My DH and I discussed this today. He tells me he greatly prefers Samsung Galaxy he now has. If possible, I suggest you see if you can try out the products before you buy.

I have the first kindle made..loved it until I got the kindle fire...love it...but then I got a Ipad and for me that is what I like. Oh and FYI don't forget to go the pixelofink.com. they will have free kindle books or 99 cents. the site searches amazon daily and finds the daily deals and free books. love this website

I love my e-reader/tablet. One thing to consider is screen size. If you want to watch videos, you might want to get something larger than a 7" or 8" screen. Mine has a 7" screen and I don't think I would enjoy watching videos on it. Reading email is OK but next time I'm going for a bigger screen.

I have an iPad, and I love it. I was using it for everything, but hated carrying it around because I really can't afford to replace it and the glare outside. I bought an e ink Kindle reader, and it goes everywhere. The only thing that really got me about the iPad was that it doesn't do Flashplayer(I think that is the one).

Is the Kindle Fire HD 7" a good choice or is to too small? Also can you surf the web, google Craftsy and sign in to your account with a minimum of trouble. Not sure if I could do it this way or if I would have to download it from my computer. Sorry to be such a technical illiterate. I can't figure out what they are talking about half the time so thanks for all the help that various people have offered.
