I like that fabric looks really good on the ironing board I'm way past due for a cover,fabric is not garish at all

Your ironing board cover came out nice. I like the fabric too.

I use an old mattress pad to make new pads for my ironing board. I also use drop cloth fabric to make new ironing board covers. These are held on the board with a draw string so I can take them off and wash them when they get starch build up.

I thought I would post pics of the first two sampler blocks that I am making with this fabric for the QB 2013 BOM. I know this fabric, Patch of Roses by Hampton Print Works, was curtain or drapery fabric but it will be happy to live out it's life in a quilt.

It's very cute! Did you test it to make sure the inexpensive colors won't run if you steam something?
