But for a great reason... I just found out I'm expecting!!!!! I'm thinking of a little corner in the living room to sew & put everything in the heavy duty plastic tubs in the garage till I need it. But I have some great nursery ideas :)

Congratulations!! Being a parent is wonderful. You'll survive not having a sewing room. :) I set up a card board table in the living room when I sew. It forces me to clean up when I'm finished with the project.

That's such a great reason to have to give up your sewing room. You will be pretty busy for quite some time so you may not have a lot of time to sew & quilt. Babies are such a wonderful gift. Congratulations on your little one. God bless your new little family.

I lost my sewing room when my son was born. He was very indignant when I turned it back into a sewing room when he graduated from college and moved out. He told me that when he moved back in I would have to get all my junk out of "his" room, I told him he would be sleeping in the guest room if he came back!

When my first one came along I found I could not sew anyplace he was likely to get into things. Sewing stuff is pretty dangerous for little ones.
