"NO NO" hair remover gadgit......

As seen on TV....I am wondering if anyone has tried this product and if so did you find good results. The commercial sure does look convincining. I have a hair from "H__ L" that I would like to put an end to it's life. LOL

If it's this one:
http://www.amazon.com/No-Hair-Remova.../dp/B002LBK5QU

it got pretty bad reviews on Amazon.

Thanks for the info. I was interested in whether it worked or not too. I sure won't be buying one now.

I have a beautician friend who told me the only way to successfully and permanently remove hair is through electrolysis. I had asked her about laser hair removal. Hope this helps.

Carron 06-28-2012 05:15 PM

Thanks for this information. I did not think of checking the reviews. I guess I shall continue with the method that does work for removal although it must be done constantly and that is the tweezers. No lasting results but does not burm the skin and certainly does not hurt the wallet. :o

I am a firm believer if it sounds too good to be true it probably is.

I don't think electrolysis works for everyone. Tried a sample once and, aside from the fact that it hurt (!), the specific hairs that were treated were unaffected.

My daughter recently had laser hair removal done on her forearms and it worked very well (and was painless). However, she has dark hair. I was told laser hair removal usually does not work well on forearms because the hair is usually too light a color.

Yep Daughter used this. Oh my had to take her to ER for a rush from H__l . Wrote letter to Food ADmin and to BBB

Thinkuvme2 06-29-2012 07:42 AM

I bought it.... it DID NOT work (for me) and it was like pulling teeth trying to get my money back... I swore I would never EVER buy anything else from an infomercial. My advice... DON'T DO IT!

I just figured this one out - we don't have hair on our legs anymore because we don't use them as much as we used to.
We Do have hair on our chins because our mouths never stop moving - either eating or yakking. Ya think?

Electrolysis is what works fore me. Just note that it takes a long time to kill the roots. I've been going for over a year and I love the results!!!!!

Never heard of the laser

I went to Electrolyis for years and I still have hair on my chinny chin chin. Now I have really long white hair under my chin as well. Your right about the legs not getting much hair ...... it just moved up to my chin. I hate it.

Latrinka 06-30-2012 10:09 AM

If it seems too good to be true, it probably is!

you may be right,pal!!!!

I didn't try that one but I did try another advertised on T.V. by the guy who used to do all those T.V. commercials and when he died, someone else took over for him. It did NOTHING. Three of us were wondering about it and I said I'd buy one and try it out. It was useless.

I am glad you asked , as I was tempted by the claims!
Just my thoughts... I think we start to change gender as we age.. Men grow breasts, and women get hair on their faces.. just an observation.

sewinggirl 06-30-2012 06:05 PM

I just bought the gadget...tried it on my upper arms which I had lasered from a friend at 50% off...(they are now closed and I can't afford treatments.) With laser you need several treatments. I had it on my lower arms about 5 different times and it is alot better...not 100% gone but looks good. So I thought let me thin the upper arm...well only had 2 treatments and now they look worse then ever. Soo..I bought the no no to see if that will work..it is time consuming and doesn't give you a clean finish like a razer would...also feels like a shaved area growing in..not sure if I will keep it...don't want to shave the area so this might be ok to keep it somewhat hairless. I have had elctrol. on my face for years..my lip is done and I love it ...still get it on my face under chin and on sides a little..the lip was a painful process but so happy to have it under control now...tooo costly to do arms. not sure it I helped you but I thought if u just wanted an area somewhat cleaned up it might work for you...

nancia 06-30-2012 07:55 PM

karate lady 06-30-2012 09:44 PM

At the age of 77, I just do what the guys do.....shave. Only have to do it about once a week and it is just the chin. All the other ways I hav e tried HURT...........LOL

Greenheron 07-01-2012 12:02 PM

Must shave everyday or have a white VanDyke....:o

AnnaPP 07-10-2012 12:57 PM

I have had pretty good results using Vaniqua. It is a prescription cream that slows down hair growth. It is expensive about $100.00 a tube but if only used on the face it is well worth it as the tube lasts several months.

Yes, things do change....but what is with the poor guys who loose the hair from their head and the missing hairs show up in the ears and nose.
