There are times in all our lives we can stop, and stay, and make a difference. Maybe it's not as dramatic as being at a bedside like this, but there are many other occasions where we can help someone along, if we'll only recognize the opportunities and stop whatever we are doing to focus on someone's else's needs. So true and just think if the whole world would do this what a wonderful place it would be with no wars and no hating others. All my life I remember one of the most important things my Grandmother said to me when I was a child "Don't do anything you wouldn't want to be doing when Jesus is watching you". Scared the goodness out of me then but over the years have realized just what a life's lesson it was. |
