Not a Quilt, and Not as Fun

I was commissioned to re-upholster a friend's golf cart...NEVER again! Sewing canvas on my little machine was like trying to force a piece of wood to go around a curve. In the photo, I just have the underside duck taped for delivery. The owner was able to stretch and staple the cover onto the seats and it honestly looks like a professional job. But, NEVER again!

I know the feeling. My husband bought a small fishing boat and I used vinyl to recovered his seat cushion and back rest including piping with all new padding. Did he love it? Yes. Would I do it again.....not unless I have to!!!!

I just finished a fitted mattress cover and now need to make a set of cushion covers for a camper so I feel your pain.

great job though!! one time I tried to sew the seams on an old U.S. flag again before washing it and the dirt and fabric was horrid. I had to quit or my machine would have suffered.

You did great, very nice colors! I was talked into recovering all the cushions in a travel trailer and for 2 pontoon boats, they looked good but I also said never again!
